Environmental education
I deliver a range of educational activities designed to help young people engage with their home and school environment in a sustainable and hopeful way.
Recent projects that I have worked on or am still involved with include:
The creation of a ‘Green Wall‘ at a Brighton Primary School to increase biodiversity, reduce roadside pollution and teach the children about environmental concerns.
Planting a Sussex Heritage Orchard in collaboration with student volunteers and the Sustainability Team at the University of Sussex.
Practical pruning workshops for Brighton and Hove Organic Gardening Group.
Details of DBS enhanced checks, risk assessments and insurance provided upon request. Please get in touch if you have an idea for an environmental education activity that you would like to discuss. With a background as a youth worker in the charity sector I am committed to inclusivity and flexible pricing is available for those who need it.
